Key Responsibilities
- Lead water damage restoration, fire and smoke mitigation, and related remediation projects
- Direct daily jobsite operations for technicians and subcontractors
- Perform and verify moisture inspections, moisture mapping, and psychrometric calculations
- Determine appropriate drying, cleaning, containment, and deodorization strategies in coordination with Project Management
- Set up, monitor, and adjust drying, filtration, and air scrubber equipment
- Oversee controlled demolition and removal per approved scope
- Enforce PPE usage, containment, and cross-contamination control
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with IICRC standards and company SOPs
- Document moisture readings, equipment placement, job progress, and photos using restoration software
- Communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and internal teams
- Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians at all skill levels
- 3–5 years of experience in restoration, mitigation, or disaster recovery
- Demonstrated leadership or crew lead experience
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Availability for emergency response and on-call rotation
- IICRC WRT and FSRT required; ASD, AMRT, or additional certifications strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of drying science, psychrometrics, and material behavior
- Experience with insurance-driven restoration and adjuster coordination
- Proficiency in restoration documentation and job management software
- Experience assisting with job scoping, supplements, and scope validation
