What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at ServiceMaster Restore?
ServiceMaster of Plantsville, CT is a disaster restoration company that’s locally owned and operated for over 25 years. We pride ourselves as a business of integrity that has partnered with the community to help others recover from water, fire, smoke, mold, odors, hoarding, and other disaster situations.
We’re currently hiring Service Technicians for our Restoration team of trained professionals. We’re looking for someone who can be diligent about their role in helping salvage properties and go the extra mile to make a difficult situation as less painful as possible for our customers.
Service Technician Requirements :
- Experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or a related industry is a huge plus
- IICRC Water Certification is preferred and pay is commensurate
- Must have a valid driver's license , clean driving record , and be able to travel to our office in Plantsville, CT each morning before using our company vans
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability work in a physically intensive work environment
- Nights, weekends, and on-call hours will occasionally be needed (with bonus pay)
- Willing to undergo a background / drug check upon employment
