Position Overview
ServiceMaster by Singer is seeking an experienced Water Mitigation Project Manager to manage water damage restoration projects from initial inspection through completion of structural drying.
This role requires a restoration professional who understands mitigation procedures, documentation requirements, and how to direct technicians while maintaining clear communication with homeowners and insurance representatives.
This is a field-driven role for someone who can manage multiple projects, maintain strong documentation, and ensure work is completed correctly.
Responsibilities
- Inspect water losses and determine mitigation strategy using IICRC standards
- Direct technicians and crew chiefs during mitigation projects
- Monitor drying progress and confirm structural drying completion
- Maintain complete job documentation including moisture readings, photos, and notes
- Use tools such as DocuSketch and restoration documentation platforms
- Communicate with property owners and insurance adjusters
- Manage multiple mitigation projects simultaneously
Required Qualifications
- IICRC WRT Certification required
- Water mitigation / restoration experience
- Experience directing technicians or mitigation crews
- Strong documentation habits
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background screening required for technicians entering homes
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to wear respirator when required
- Ability to work emergency hours when losses occur
