We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Asset Manager / Service Writer/ AP- AR Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the lifecycle management of a company's physical assets, such as equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This candidate would also help customers with their vehicle repair needs at the repair shops. This candidate would also be responsible for processing payments and invoices, reconciling accounts, and communicating with both vendors and customers. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments for both accounts payable
Responsibilities
- Tracking and maintenance: Ensuring assets are regularly checked, accounted for, and accessible to workers. They also develop and implement maintenance strategies, and create and manage budgets for maintenance and replacement.
- Asset valuation: Overseeing the valuation process for assets.
- Strategic decision making: Making decisions to ensure efficient operations and long-term value. This includes evaluating the need for asset upgrades or replacement.
- Risk assessment: Identifying and assessing risks associated with asset performance and safety.
- Reporting: Generating reports and recommendations for asset improvements.
- Recommending equipment and personnel: Providing recommendations for construction equipment and personnel required for upcoming jobs.
- Prepare detailed reports on asset performance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to asset management.
- Customer service: Greet customers, answer questions, and handle complaints
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments and monitor repairs
- Estimates: Create cost estimates for labor and parts
- Communication: Act as a liaison between customers and technicians
- Records: Maintain customer and vehicle data
- Billing: Process orders and handle billing- Quickbooks Online experience is required
- Repair orders: Prepare repair orders and enter work order details
Skills and qualifications for asset managers include:
- Proven experience in asset management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial software tools for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on client relations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
- Knowledge of the mechanical industry is a plus
