Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures in new construction and remodeling projects
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components
• Conduct plumbing inspections using specialized cameras and testing equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, repairs, and system upgrades while adhering to local building codes and regulations
• Collaborate with construction teams such as carpenters and HVAC specialists to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of systems
• Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for pipe installation, system testing, and site cleanup while maintaining safety protocols

Qualifications

• Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial or residential settings
• Strong mechanical knowledge of water systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and interpreting technical drawings
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and plumbing inspection cameras
• Familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing installations and safety standards
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and system specifications
• Experience with remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transportation
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials regularly and perform strenuous tasks safely
