Teardown Technician

Essential Job Duties

• Sort, repair, test and hands-on troubleshoot electronic hardware, including but not limited to servers, network equipment, computers and spare parts
• Configure products to customer specifications and create discrepancy reports
• Provide customer technical support
• Interface with inventory, production control, supply chain, and sales teams to troubleshoot and resolve any customer’s technical issues
• Address any inventory spec issues and provide updates to supply chain, inventory control and management assistance teams
• Adhere to and maintain ESD and safety requirements in all required work areas

Experience

Prior experience with assembling or hands-on testing of IT hardware (specifically Dell or HP)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications

Any Or All Of The Following Training Certifications

• Certified Network Administration (CNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Administration (CCNA)
• A Certification
• Microsoft Certified System Administration (MCSA)
• Microsoft Technical Administration (MTA)
• Server Certification
• Network Certification
  
  

Software Requirements

General knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Microsoft Access Database experience a plus

Experience in SAP or SAP ByDesign is a plus

Physical Demands

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
