What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media + Marketing Coordinator position at Served Creative?
Digital Marketing & Content Creator
About Served Creative
Served Creative is a hospitality-focused creative agency specializing in restaurants, hotels, bars, chefs, and lifestyle brands. We don't believe in cookie-cutter marketing—we build brands that people want to experience. From social media and content creation to branding, email marketing, influencer marketing, website management, and experiential campaigns, we partner with some of the region's most recognizable hospitality concepts to create work that drives real business.
Who You Are
We're looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Creator who's excited to grow with us. This role is ideal for someone seeking a long-term opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time position as our agency continues to expand.
You're equal parts creative thinker, content creator, organized project manager, and marketer. If you love hospitality, enjoy being on-site creating content, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to help shape the future of a growing creative agency, we'd love to meet you.
You don't just post on social media—you understand how branding, storytelling, design, and guest experience work together to build unforgettable hospitality brands.
You're naturally curious, proactive, collaborative, and always full of ideas. You notice great branding, love discovering new restaurants, and get excited about helping businesses stand out.
Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, bar, or hospitality business (in any capacity) is required.
What You'll Do
No two days look the same. One day you could be shooting content at a restaurant opening, the next you're launching an email campaign, designing graphics for a seasonal menu, planning an influencer event, or brainstorming your next viral Reel.
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality photo and video content for restaurants, hotels, bars, and hospitality brands.
- Plan and execute on-site content shoots across multiple client locations.
- Capture, schedule, and manage social media content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Edit short-form video content including Reels, TikToks, and Stories using current trends and platform best practices.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies across multiple hospitality brands.
- Write engaging copy for social media, websites, email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.
- Design marketing collateral including social graphics, menus, event flyers, digital ads, and branded assets.
- Build, deploy, and optimize email marketing campaigns.
- Update and maintain client websites through WordPress, BentoBox, Squarespace, or similar CMS platforms.
- Assist with photography, video production, influencer collaborations, and creative direction.
- Support restaurant openings, seasonal campaigns, experiential marketing activations, and special events.
- Monitor campaign performance using Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and other reporting tools.
- Assist with SEO improvements and website optimization.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, influencers, vendors, and client teams to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Stay on top of hospitality trends, social media best practices, and emerging digital marketing opportunities.
- Manage multiple brands and timelines while maintaining exceptional creative quality.
What We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, hospitality marketing, or a creative agency environment.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy and current platform trends.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign are a plus).
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Flodesk, Klaviyo, Toast Marketing, or similar.
- Experience managing websites through WordPress, Squarespace, BentoBox, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising.
- Comfortable juggling multiple brands, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Photography, videography, or short-form video editing experience is a major plus.
