Job Summary: Roll mats and prepare for distribution

Role Priorities:

• Bring mats from wash floor to dumping area.
• Pick up mats from floor and place on mat roller.
• Ensure cleanliness of machines and work area.
• Assist in maintaining the machines are working properly by informing Supervisor who will make minor repairs to equipment and requisition major repairs to Maintenance.
• Ensure quality of product and meet daily production quantity goals.
• Work in other areas of department as necessary.

Role Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

• Training period of 2-4 weeks to become familiar with roller, pieces processed, company standards, and to attain normal efficiency.
• Assist Supervisor in improving a system of production control, standard operating procedures, safety, and quality control.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Prolonged use of arms and legs.
• Repetitive grasping of hands.
• Lifting of mats up to 10lbs consistently, up to 35lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• Pushing and pulling of carts.
• Also twisting, bending, turning, squatting, and walking.
• Repetitive work.

Work Environment:

• Inside typical plant environment- can be hot and humid; must be aware of safety protocols and avoiding injury to hands from moving parts of machinery and tools.
• Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• General work hours are Monday through Friday.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
