Utility Excavation Operator – The Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, primarily excavators, along with performing physical labor to support fiber optic infrastructure construction. This role involves working in roadway environments and around existing utilities, requiring a high level of precision, strong safety awareness, and coordination with field crews.
Responsibilities may include operating hand and power tools such as air hammers, tampers, cement mixers, hoists, and surveying equipment. The role also includes site preparation, trenching, setting supports for excavations, and cleanup of debris and materials. The operator will assist team members as needed and report to the assigned supervisor
Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts operator license: HE-2A-Excavator
- Valid driver’s license and clean driver record
- Work locations are throughout MA and CT
- Overnight stays may be required

Pay:
- Expected pay is 32.00 to 40.00 per hour, depending on experience
