Telecom Lineman Apprentice
As a Telecom Lineman Apprentice, you will perform aerial and underground fiber optic line construction, maintenance and repair of telecom networks. Every day will be different in a dynamic, safety-first environment. The ideal candidate embraces working outside, overcoming obstacles, and being part of a great team!
- Learn to operate cable placing equipment, including bucket trucks and reel trailers
- Learn to safely climb telephone poles and ladders
- Learn to read and understand engineering plans and construction prints
- Learn to troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
- Learn to work with specialized off-road equipment such as tracked and all-terrain vehicles
- Previous Pole Climbing experience preferred

Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License with (3) or more proven years of driving experience
- Clean Driving Record
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to work from heights and ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test, physical evaluation, and background check.
- Job includes extensive travel throughout the Northeast
