Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments efficiently
- Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed throughout their experience
- Coordinate with servers and floor staff to ensure smooth table turnover
- Answer incoming calls, take reservations, and respond to general inquiries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance area
- Assist with guest concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Previous hosting, front-of-house, or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay composed in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Positive, outgoing attitude with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with reservation management systems (OpenTable, Yelp, etc.) is a plus
