Job Description:
The Senior SailPoint SME will serve as the senior technical authority for SailPoint and Identity & Access Management activities supporting client. The individual should possess strong hands-on experience with SailPoint technologies and enterprise IAM environments and be capable of providing technical leadership, troubleshooting, configuration/support, integration guidance, and operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
SailPoint Administration & Support
- Provide senior-level technical support for SailPoint environments.
- Troubleshoot complex SailPoint issues.
- Analyze system behavior, errors, integrations, workflows, and provisioning issues.
- Support SailPoint configuration and operational activities.
- Review and recommend technical solutions for complex IAM problems.
Identity Lifecycle Management
- Support identity lifecycle processes, including:
- Joiner
- Mover
- Leaver
- Support identity creation, modification, suspension, and termination processes.
- Troubleshoot identity synchronization and lifecycle issues.
- Ensure appropriate identity and access processes are maintained.
Access Governance
- Support access request and approval processes.
- Support entitlement and role management.
- Assist with access certification/review activities.
- Support segregation-of-duties and governance requirements where applicable.
- Provide technical recommendations for improving identity governance.
Integration & Engineering
- Troubleshoot integrations between SailPoint and connected systems.
- Support application onboarding and connectivity.
- Analyze provisioning/deprovisioning failures.
- Support APIs, connectors, workflows, and integration components as applicable.
- Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve integration issues.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as the senior SailPoint technical advisor.
- Provide guidance to technical support personnel.
- Review proposed technical changes.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support architectural and engineering decisions related to IAM.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring.
Security & Compliance
- Support secure IAM operations.
- Assist with security and compliance requirements related to identity and access.
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation.
- Support audit, reporting, and evidence requirements.
- Ensure changes are implemented through appropriate change-management processes.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor SailPoint operational performance.
- Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend automation and process improvements.
- Support enhancements and configuration changes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 8 years of IAM experience preferred.
- 5 years of hands-on SailPoint experience preferred.
- Strong experience with enterprise SailPoint implementations/support.
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow preferred.
