What You'll Do
The Accounts Payable Specialist reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and will:
- Process high volume of invoices, match invoices to receipts, and ensure proper approval of all invoices
- Ensure timely payments of supplier invoices with weekly payment runs
- Act as primary financial point of contact with internal cost center owners and external suppliers, including trouble-shooting issues and reconciling monthly statements
- Develop and maintain internal procedures and policies
- Suggest and work toward process-improvement projects
What You'll Bring
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, suppliers, and management
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with 1099 requirements
- Understanding of required activities associated with working for a public company, including SOX compliance
- Two or more years of Accounts Payable experience, required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, required
- Oracle Fusion experience, preferred
