Looking for a PER DIEM Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Rochester, NY

Job Responsibilities:
- Provides skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Follows all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
- Adheres to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
- Provides documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver/patient education as appropriate.
- Regularly discusses with supervising Occupational Therapist patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
- Ensures safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.
Requirements include:
- Valid professional license
- Graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Preferred experience with rehab optima and skilled nursing facilities
- New graduates are welcome
