About the Role
The Alumni Services Coordinator supports long-term recovery by engaging individuals transitioning from treatment into ongoing alumni support. This role expands alumni programming across Serenity Lane’s outpatient network through in-person and virtual events, outreach, and recovery-focused communication. The position requires lived experience in recovery, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
What You’ll Do

- Introduce outpatient clients to alumni services and onboard new alumni
- Facilitate monthly in-person alumni meetings and events at assigned outpatient sites
- Lead 1–2 weekly virtual alumni support meetings
- Manage alumni communication through approved platforms and Alumni App
- Track engagement, attendance, and alumni data
- Support quarterly alumni events and Friday evening speaker meetings (approx. twice per month)
- Connect alumni with community recovery resources
- Collaborate with outpatient clinical teams and maintain professional boundaries
What We’re Looking For
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience in recovery with 2 years of sobriety
- Evening and weekend availability
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Basic technology proficiency (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to pass drug screening (THC-free workplace)
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain CRM credential within 6 months
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in peer support, outreach, or behavioral health
- Familiarity with CRM/EHR systems (Salesforce, Aura)
- Motivational Interviewing training or willingness to obtain
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand/sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to travel statewide
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Serenity Lane is a Cannabis THC-free workplace)
