Mental Health Transportation Coordinator

Starting Pay: $24/hour

Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

1-Hour Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Position Overview

Serenity Human Service Coordination LLC is seeking a dedicated and organized Transportation Coordinator to join our team. This position plays an important role in helping ensure that clients are able to successfully attend appointments, access resources, and remain connected to services within the community. This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, along with compassion and patience when working with individuals and families facing mental health, transportation, and financial barriers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & monitor transportation services for clients
• Troubleshoot transportation issues & help resolve scheduling conflicts
• Communicate closely with case managers regarding client transportation needs
• Coordinate with community providers, transportation companies & families
• Ensure rides are completed successfully and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records & communication logs
• Submit progress notes weekly by deadlines and meet unit requirements
• Assist in improving transportation systems and processes
• Provide professional and compassionate customer service to clients and community partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services-related field required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with individuals experiencing mental health, financial, and social challenges
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
