We are seeking a highly organized, growth oriented, EXPERIENCED and professional DENTAL Front Desk Treatment Coordinator to join our team at Serenity Dental Spa.
DENTAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
GREAT PHONE ETIQUETTE IS A MUST.
The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly and welcoming to our patients while maintaining professionalism. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in office management, and the ability to handle various administrative/billing tasks efficiently in a busy general dental practice. This position will be for 32-34 hours per week. Please do not apply if you need 40 hours.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and manage the practice calendar to optimize patient flow and practice productivity.
- Discuss treatment plans and financial details with patients ensuring accuracy and proper follow up.
- Handle phone calls, answer patient inquiries, and confirm appointments.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including verifying insurance and collecting payments.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
- Address patient concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of patient service.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING FRONT DESK IN A DENTAL PRACTICE.
- Must be familiar with dental coding/billing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus.
- Familiarity with WEAVE is a plus.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
