Dental Practice Manager – Serene Dental
Location: SW Portland / Hillsdale Neighborhood
Schedule: 40 hours per week

Work-Life Schedule:
- Clinical Days: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri (8:00 AM–4:30 PM)
- Administrative Day: Wednesday

What You'll Accomplish
As our Practice Manager, you'll be the operational heart of our practice, leading our team and driving excellence across all aspects of patient care and business performance:
Patient Experience & Revenue Cycle:
- Create memorable first impressions through warm, professional patient interactions
- Present treatment plans with clarity and confidence to maximize case acceptance
- Design flexible in-house payment solutions that make dental care accessible
- Optimize revenue through strategic billing, collections, and accounts receivable management
- Oversee insurance processing with precision and follow through on claims resolution
Team Leadership & Culture:
- Inspire and mentor our front office team to deliver consistent excellence
- Facilitate productive monthly team meetings that align staff with practice goals
- Conduct meaningful annual performance reviews in partnership with our doctors
- Foster a collaborative, positive workplace culture where team members thrive
Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure flawless OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Manage financial operations including daily deposits and financial reporting
- Coordinate seamlessly with specialty offices and manage referral relationships
- Partner with our marketing team to implement growth strategies and track results
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of dental practice management or senior administrative experience
- Expert-level knowledge of dental billing, insurance coding (CDT codes), and revenue cycle management
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Track record of improving practice metrics (collections, case acceptance, patient retention)
Essential Skills:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
- Natural conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Tech-savvy with dental practice management software (please specify your experience)
- Adaptable, positive attitude with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Passionate about patient care and service excellence
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with marketing initiatives and patient acquisition strategies
- Knowledge of multi-doctor practice dynamics
- Certification in dental practice management or similar
