We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial tree operations and project execution. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Lead by example and promote a safe, professional, and productive work environment.
· Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to General Foremen, General Managers, Foremen, and assigned project teams.
· Plan, coordinate, and oversee assigned projects from beginning through completion.
· Review contracts, work orders, job specifications, circuit maps, job prints, and customer requirements.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, production goals, manpower requirements, equipment needs, and project timelines.
· Monitor project performance, productivity, labor, equipment, materials, and overall project costs.
· Ensure projects remain within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
· Identify work outside the approved scope and coordinate proper authorization and documentation for change orders and additional work.
· Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor safety, quality, productivity, progress, and compliance with customer requirements.
· Maintain effective communication with customers and address project concerns in a professional and timely manner.
· Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Fleet, Safety, Accounting, HR, and other departments as necessary to support successful project completion.
· Review and ensure accurate project documentation, daily reports, production records, photographs, customer approvals, and billing documentation.
· Monitor and hold field leadership accountable for employee productivity, safety, attendance, quality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
· Ensure General Foremen and field personnel conduct required safety meetings and job briefings.
· Promote compliance with OSHA, ANSI Z133, utility customer requirements, and Sequoia safety policies and procedures.
· Assist with resolving employee, customer, equipment, scheduling, and operational issues.
· Participate in customer meetings, site walks, project reviews, and pre-job meetings as required.
· Assist with storm restoration and emergency operations when required.
· Maintain professional relationships with customers, employees, subcontractors, utility representatives, and management.
· Assist other employees and company departments as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
· High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Business, Construction Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
· Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in tree care, utility vegetation management, construction, landscaping, project management, or related field operations preferred.
· Previous experience managing General Foremen, General Managers, Foremen, crews, or multiple field operations teams preferred.
· Strong knowledge of project management, scheduling, production, budgeting, and customer service.
· Ability to read and understand contracts, circuit maps, job prints, work orders, specifications, and customer requirements.
· Strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Ability to speak, read, and understand English sufficiently to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and management and understand company policies, safety procedures, work instructions, and job-related documentation.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), email, Paycom, and company software applications.
· Must have a good attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to continued professional growth.
· Attends training provided by the company.
· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
· Ability to work more than 40 hours per week, nonstandard hours, weekends, and assume on-call responsibilities when required.
· Ability to work long hours in adverse weather conditions.
· Ability to work during storm restoration and emergency operations.

Pay: $66,500.00 - $68,600.00 per year
