What You’ll Do
As a Seasonal Front Desk Attendant, you will:
- Provide guests with a friendly and efficient check-in confirming guest information, verifying room rate, selecting room, coding electronic keys, providing welcome packet, and providing directions to room.
- Provide detailed and accurate information in person or over the phone regarding hotel policies, services, amenities, and special promotions.
- Assist guests with check-out ensuring room and services are correctly accounted and process payments and post charges to guest accounts.
- Balance all cash, credit card, and check transactions at the end of each shift.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or complaints and communicate outstanding issues that require additional monitoring or follow-up to management in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room counts, room status, maintenance issues, and special requests.
- Age requirement of 21 required
- High School Diploma
- At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred
- Positive and upbeat personality
- Strong communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance, hygiene and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code
- Ability to work nonstandard hours including nights, weekends and holidays
