Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our facility. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, managing building interior and exterior areas, providing excellent customer service, and supporting storage unit maintenance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance of facilities equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform building interior maintenance, including repairs and upkeep of walls, flooring, lighting, and fixtures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with storage unit upkeep, answering customer inquiries, and supporting rental processes.
- Carry out maintenance painting to preserve the appearance and integrity of the facility.
- Support the upkeep of storage units, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with U-Haul rentals and related customer interactions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on trucks and other vehicles.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or issues to minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities or building maintenance preferred.
- Ability to perform general repairs, painting, and equipment upkeep effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, climbing ladders, and operating basic tools.
- Reliable work ethic with attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
