Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition and onboarding. This role will manage full-cycle recruiting and ensure an efficient, compliant, and welcoming onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with a curious mindset—someone who asks questions, seeks to continuously improve processes, and is passionate about bringing high-quality talent into the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, work with HRBPs to finalize job descriptions, and craft effective hiring strategies.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to ensure alignment with role requirements and company values.
- Maintain a strong talent pipeline and drive an excellent candidate experience from application to offer.
Onboarding & Day 1 Experience
- Oversee and administer the new hire onboarding process from offer acceptance orientation and assimilation.
- Ensure all onboarding steps are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Paylocity onboarding workflow, ensuring new hires complete all required documentation and trainings.
- Collaborate with IT, payroll, and department leaders to ensure seamless new hire readiness.
Generalist Responsibilities
- Support HR projects and processes across the employee lifecycle as needed.
- Assist with compliance initiatives, policy updates, and employee documentation.
- Provide exceptional service to employees and managers, helping cultivate a positive and supportive HR experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of HR experience with an emphasis on recruiting and onboarding; experience in a mid-size company.
- Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HRIS/onboarding systems strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
- A curious, proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
