What You Will Be Doing:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in the construction sector.
- Build and maintain longterm relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and problem resolution.
- Develop and execute account strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitors.
- Prepare and present customized proposals and bids for construction projects.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to close deals.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., project management, operations) to ensure smooth execution of contracts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasts in CRM software.
- Provide regular updates to the leadership team on pipeline activity and progress toward goals.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build connections.
- Stay informed about relevant building trends, regulations, and technological advancements in the construction field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office (Zoho).
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
