What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Analyst position at Sentinel?
Responsibilities
Sentinel is looking for a System Analyst to assist our customer. This role will focus on cleaning up existing systems, making necessary corrections, and streamlining processes by moving away from unnecessary customizations and leveraging built-in system features. Attention to detail is critical, as this individual will ensure application settings and data are accurate and properly maintained. In addition, the analyst will provide customer service and support by assisting staff on a one-on-one basis, walking them through system screens, and offering individualized training as needed. This is a contract to hire position reporting onsite at our client location in West Chicago.
Qualifications
- Secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience supporting an education environment and their applications
- Ability to implement sound practices in hardware and software troubleshooting, maintenance
- Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand, walk and sit
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:
$32.00 an hour
