What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network WAN/LAN Engineer position at Sentinel?
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Network WAN/LAN Engineer to support and maintain enterprise network infrastructure. This role will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support, resolving network-related incidents and service requests, and contributing to infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in networking, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract to hire position based in Fort Collins, CO.
Qualifications
- Must have 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including WAN/LAN environments.
- Must have Cisco ISE experience
- Experience with Microsoft technologies and Azure cloud services.
- Familiarity with Azure Fabric and cloud networking concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security fundamentals.
- Highly motivated, self-starting, and proactive, with the ability to identify priorities, take ownership of tasks, and work independently without requiring constant direction.
- Demonstrated initiative and a strong sense of accountability, with a “figure it out and get it done” mindset.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with users and stakeholders.
- Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Must be willing to work an on call rotation schedule
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:
$45/hr - $62/hr
