Responsibilities

 

Sentinel is seeking a personable and detail-oriented IT Help Desk Technician to provide exceptional customer support and technical expertise with one of our strategic partners. This role covers both Level 1 and Level 2 support, acting as the first and second line of defense for technical issues. Responsibilities include responding to support requests, troubleshooting Windows devices, managing user onboarding/offboarding, and resolving issues related to Microsoft 365, Egnyte, and printers. This is a Direct Hire role requiring onsite in Indianapolis, IN and work with some local travel and less than 5% non-local travel.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in IT support, handling Level 1 & 2 issues
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, and Egnyte
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and AV setups
  • Solid understanding of networking (IP, DNS, DHCP, switches, Wi-Fi)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity: MFA, endpoint protection, patching
  • Familiar with hybrid environments, VPNs, printers, and peripherals
  • Skilled in remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Ninja)
  • Certifications (CompTIA A /Network , Microsoft Modern Desktop) preferred
  • Comfortable documenting processes and contributing to knowledge bases
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
  • Self-motivated team player with a growth mindset
