Senior Plumber and Steampipe Fitter

The Team Leader is experienced in all phases of plumbing/steamfitting and assists the leadership (Team Coordinator, Manager, Director) with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of goals and objectives, customer satisfaction, and in meeting regulatory requirements. This individual serves as the technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities, and provides daily support to team members. The Team Leader also helps leadership with facilitating and monitoring the work process of a designated team, including internal construction projects.

In addition to High School graduate or equivalent, applicant is required to have a minimum of 1 year of post-secondary/vocational training. MPLB preferred.

This is an on-site position located at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk

Education

• High School Diploma
• Trade School Diploma
• In addition to High School graduate or equivalent, applicant is required to have a minimum of 1 year of post-secondary/vocational training. MPLB preferred.

Certification/Licensure

• Drivers License Commonwealth of VA or State of NC
• Journeyman's license

Experience

• 3 years Plumbing
• 3 years Steampipe Fitter
