Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for the Hahn Outpatient Cancer Center. This position is ideal for candidates who have experience or interest in working with cancer patients in an outpatient setting.
Sign on bonus up to $15,000 with no contract or commitment required!
Schedule: Will work four 9 hour shifts per week, with shifts starting at 7:45am.
Education
Associates Degree – Nursing
Or
Bachelor’s Degree - Nursing
Certification/Licensure
Registered Nurse
Experience
Previous experience in acute care nursing is preferred
Duties/Responsibilities
Oncology, Palliative Care, or Hospice experience preferred
The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
