Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our General Medicine /Med Surg Floor. This is a Full Time, third shift position in Suffolk, VA.

Hours: 7P to 7A with rotating weekend schedule.

The Medical-Surgical Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital is a great place to learn and grow, supported by a longstanding leadership team and strong preceptors dedicated to mentoring new nurses. With a 21-bed capacity, an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 6, and PCTs assisting with an average of 10 or 11 patients, the unit offers a collaborative, supportive environment ideal for both new graduates and experienced nurses seeking to enhance their skillset. Unit coordinators are on staff, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care. Education
- Trade School Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program (Required)
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of practice
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- Acute care nursing experience preferred
- Background in Stroke or Telemetry preferred
- None Required
