Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
7:00 AM–8:30 AM
2:30 PM–5:00 PM

About the Position
Sensory Sitters is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to support an amazing 11-year-old boy in the south suburbs of Chicago. He is sweet, energetic, and thrives with engaging activities, consistency, and positive encouragement.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about providing individualized support in a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
Provide safe transportation to and from school (morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up)
Assist with daily routines and transitions
Prepare light snacks
Engage in age-appropriate, fun, and meaningful activities
Provide positive behavioral support and encouragement
Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environment
Communicate with the family regarding daily routines and activities
Qualifications
Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
Previous caregiving, childcare, education, or behavioral support experience is a plus
Patient, dependable, and compassionate
Comfortable following routines and providing individualized care
Excellent communication and reliability
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record required
