Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Lead Technician/Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual systems, electrical experience running conduit, low voltage installations, doors, and installation. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting various audio-visual equipment in a variety of settings. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and that all systems function seamlessly and ensure our AV crews is efficiently handling projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including door installation, shade installation, and card access systems.
- Perform regular maintenance on AV systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to audio-visual equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics for installation and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with field service teams to execute installations at client sites.
- Utilize hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks effectively.
- Manage cabling for AV systems while adhering to safety standards.
- Provide technical support during events or presentations as needed.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of equipment status.
Skills
- Proficiency in Electrical experience and understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation) principles.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and telecommunications technology.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to audio visual equipment setup and maintenance.
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and software diagnostics.
- Ability to work with hand tools safely and effectively in various environments.
