About The Role
The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems for Sensigreen’s service customers. This position requires strong technical ability, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service that reflects Sensigreen’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, heat pumps, split systems, VFDs, controls, and ventilation equipment
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial equipment
- Provide accurate, professional communication with customers, facility managers, and internal teams
- Document service findings, recommendations, and repair needs clearly and thoroughly
- Respond to service calls, troubleshoot system issues, and provide solutions in the field
- Ensure all work complies with code, manufacturer guidelines, and Sensigreen quality standards
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean, safe condition
- Represent Sensigreen with professionalism, integrity, and customer‑focused service
- 5 years commercial HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills with commercial equipment and controls
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, lifts, and rooftops
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with VFDs, economizers, and light controls a plus
