Location: Pomonok Community Center
Compensation: $21.98 - $24.73
Schedule: Monday - Friday; School Year: 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Summer: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
What You’ll Do
As a Teen Outreach Coordinator, you’ll be the heart of our youth programming at Pomonok/Forest Hills. You’ll create a welcoming space for teens ages 13–21 to explore leadership, build relationships, and discover new opportunities. You’ll lead activities, mentor youth, and help shape a program that feels safe, inclusive, and inspiring.This role is perfect for someone who loves working directly with young people and wants to grow as a youth development professional.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
- Leading and supporting Activity Specialists and Interns.
- Planning fun and meaningful activities—from sports and arts to career exploration.
- Building strong relationships with youth and families.
- Keeping accurate records and helping with outreach and reporting.
- Supporting community events and special projects.
- Participating in trainings and learning alongside your team.
What You’ll Bring:
- An Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- At least 1 year of experience in youth programs or after-school settings.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A commitment to creating inclusive spaces for diverse youth.
- Bonus: Experience supervising or mentoring others.
