- Lead the Shipping team and the processes to ensure on-time delivery of product to customer locations.
- Work with production teams to insure proper packaging of product per company requirements and customer expectations.
- Be a key contributor to create a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of improvement ideas and the development of team members. Lead by example and always ensure a safe and respectful work environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all packaging and shipping processes
- Keep daily shipments on track to the plan and respond to recover when off track
- Fill in for absent team members
- Ensure the output of high-quality parts and services and that standards are being adhered to by all team members
- Understand and promote the Senneca mission and values at all times and ensure that safety policies and procedures are being followed
- Ensure respectful behavior and communication among all team members at all times
- Lead and conduct start-up meetings and other events as needed
- Participate in the continual development and training of all team members
- Ensure that change for the better is always happening (improving the business)
- Support and encourage the creation and implementation of continuous improvement ideas among team members
- Understand and continually teach the principles of 5S and waste elimination
- Build a high-performance worksite
- Use daily one on one interactions to continually develop team members
- Ensure that best practices are being maintained, sustained, and improved
- Lead or participate in improvement events
- Be available to work flexible hours as necessary
- Get results by working effectively with, and bringing out the best, in team members
- Be aware of, and escalate any personnel issues to Supervisor and HR representative
- Participate in tracking daily attendance and other performance metrics
- Coordinate with and assist other team leaders

- Exposure to production shop conditions; including moving mechanical equipment, and exposure to various fumes, heat,

- The noise level can be high due to operation of production equipment.
- Proper clothing attire must be worn. No torn clothes/excessively dirty clothes shall be worn during working hours. No
- dangerous loose clothing shall be worn including clothes with rips or holes. Long hair must be pulled back during work
- hours.
- Employees are expected to exercise proper hygiene.
- No loose-fitting jewelry can be worn for safety purposes of the operator.
