OverviewWe are searching for a LEAP Program Associate – Starting Summer 2027 with an electrical engineering degree at our Kalamazoo, MI facility.
Responsibilities
- Gain a strong understanding of the market through classroom training, process shadows, on the job experience, and production site visits
- Develop and strengthen competencies required for your role and as an employee at Senneca
- Take ownership to identify trends and recommend solutions to manage business challenges
- Lead and/or participate in projects: define objectives, develop project plans, create agendas, facilitate meetings, manage timelines and deliverables, communicate updates, create contingency plans
- Complete financial and/or data analysis as required (based on project or rotation)
- Accountable for delivering superior customer service (internally or externally as required)
- Interact with various levels of corporate leadership, customers, vendors/suppliers, and employees to solve problems. Implement actions that protect company assets and profitability
- Enhance ability to effectively communicate, influence and interact with all types of customers, contractors and co-workers.
- Develop conflict resolution and relationship management skills
- Must be a self-started and Remain current with industry and macroeconomic trends by reading publications highly motivated
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial spirit with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive meaningful results
- Strong academic record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous internship and/or co-op experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, leadership, business acumen, project management, relationship building and teamwork experience through extracurricular activities, work experience or academics
- Willingness to relocate as business need requires
