Overview
We are searching for an experienced Safety Coordinator at our Redmond, OR facility.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have professional Safety experience in a manufacturing environment. Professional certification is ideal.
- The ideal candidate will also have experience with OSHA regulations as it relates to manufacturing and strong project management, and process planning.
- This position will be responsible for all Safety Programs and conduct safety training for all personnel.
- This candidate will lead a team of Safety Champions in the plant with executing all of their assigned Safety Champion tasks.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, Manufacturing or other related field preferred but not required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Safety certifications are strongly preferred.
- Experience interpreting OSHA regulations and ensuring compliance is required.
- Minimum of Three (3) years’ experience in safety. Five (5) or more years preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, group presentation skills, computer proficiency (including Excel and Word).
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to implement win-win solutions.
- Excellent statistical and mathematical skills.
