Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Seniors Helping Seniors® office, ensuring the highest quality of care for clients, effective management of caregivers, and achievement of business goals. This individual leads the team with compassion and professionalism, balancing business growth with our core mission of providing heartfelt, neighborly care.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Oversee daily office operations, scheduling, and service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate office staff and caregivers to ensure high performance and job satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and all applicable state regulations.
- Manage client intake, assessments, and ongoing satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up.
Caregiver Management
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard caregivers who align with Seniors Helping Seniors® values.
- Provide ongoing support, recognition, and training opportunities for caregivers.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet client needs and service quality expectations.
Client Services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and families to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Oversee care plans, monitor service quality, and address client or caregiver concerns promptly.
- Conduct home visits and follow-ups as needed.
Business Development & Community Engagement
- Represent Seniors Helping Seniors® in the local community, building partnerships and referral sources.
- Participate in networking events, outreach initiatives, and marketing efforts to grow client base.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to support business goals and growth.
Financial Management
- Assist with budgeting, payroll, and expense management.
- Monitor revenue and profitability while ensuring service excellence.
- Report key performance indicators and operational updates to ownership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in home care, senior services, or healthcare management (non-medical preferred).
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, mission-driven mindset with a passion for serving seniors.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
