Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care to seniors in their own homes. This role involves assisting elderly clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Duties
- Assist seniors with daily living activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and engaging environment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Help with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Administer medication reminders in accordance with care plans
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns or changes to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support seniors in maintaining their independence while respecting their preferences and dignity
- Follow safety protocols to prevent falls or accidents within the home environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior care or in-home caregiving is preferred but not required; training can be provided
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude towards elderly individuals
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to caregiving roles
