Temporary Part-Time Program Coordinator – STAY Pet Program
SeniorCare Inc. is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Program Coordinator for its STAY Pet Program, which supports older adults in safely maintaining care for their companion animals. This is a 7 week-8-week, short-term position providing continuity of program operations.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day program coordination, including intakes, volunteer coordination, tracking volunteer hours, communication with clients and volunteers, record keeping, and limited in home pet assistance. This is a hands-on role that requires comfort working with both animals and older adults.
Schedule
- Part-time, 5 days per week
- 3–4 hours per day
- Morning start time required
- Start time negotiable but must remain consistent
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pet support services for older adults
- Match volunteers with pets and client needs
- Track and document volunteer hours and basic program data
- Conduct client and volunteer intake and check-ins
- Communicate clearly with clients, volunteers, and staff
- Provide limited in-home pet assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate records and program documentation
Qualifications
- Strong love of animals and comfort handling pets
- Comfortable working with older adults and entering private homes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a consistent schedule
- Reliable vehicle required; travel within the SeniorCare service area
- Prior experience working with older adults or coordinating volunteers preferred

Starting range: $20.00- $24.00 per hour. The range for this position is established based on internal equity and market data. Individual rates may vary within the established range based on directly relevant experience and credentials. Final offers are not negotiable.
