Resident Services Coordinator
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week, M-F.
SeniorCare Inc is seeking a compassionate and experienced professional to join our team as a Resident Services Coordinator, for our YMCA Affordable Housing community for older adults. The successful candidate will provide essential support services to residents, including pre-move-in coordination, linkage to community resources and public benefits, and advocacy for resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with lease signing, move-in coordination, and transition into housing in collaboration with YMCA staff.
- Educate residents on lease renewal processes, inspections, and ongoing housing requirements.
- Provide service coordination by connecting residents to community resources and programs, including home care and public benefit services.
- Collaborate with residents, families, caregivers, and service providers.
- Plan and coordinate on-site programs, including social, educational, and special events.
- Monitor hospitalizations or rehabilitation stays and assist residents with safe transitions back home.
- Advocate for residents to ensure their needs are met and services are effectively delivered.
- Assist residents with applications and access to benefits and services such as healthcare, food assistance, transportation, and mental health supports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with housing staff and act as a liaison between residents, property management, and service providers.
Requirements:
- General knowledge of housing regulations and lease requirements
- Experience working with older adults and/or adults with disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of community resources and public benefits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong advocacy and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate computer skills and comfort with a variety of databases and platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the ASAP system as well as other service providers
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Starting range: $20.00-$25.00 per hour. The range for this position is established based on internal equity and market data. Individual rates may vary within the established range based on directly relevant experience and credentials. Final offers are not negotiable.
