Interim Executive Director – Assisted Living
Hollywood, CA | 90-Day Contract | ASAP Start
RCFE License/Certification Required | Expenses Covered
Pay: From $100.00 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Interim Executive Director for an Assisted Living community in Hollywood, California. This is a 90-day contract assignment starting as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on senior living operator who can step into the building quickly, provide steady leadership, support staff, maintain regulatory compliance, and keep day-to-day operations moving while the organization evaluates longer-term leadership needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations for the assisted living community
Maintain compliance with California RCFE regulations
Provide leadership and support to department heads and frontline staff
Stabilize operations, census, resident/family communication, and service delivery
Partner with ownership/regional leadership on priorities, reporting, and immediate operational needs
Support survey readiness, documentation, and risk management
Requirements:
Current RCFE Administrator license/certification required
Prior Executive Director/Administrator experience in Assisted Living
Strong California regulatory knowledge
Ability to start quickly and commit to a 90-day interim assignment
Comfortable stepping into an active operating environment and providing immediate leadership
