Pharmacy Cashier – Closed-Door Pharmacy
Location: Senior Life Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm
About the Role
Senior Life Pharmacy is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Cashier to join our growing team. Unlike a traditional retail pharmacy, we are a closed-door pharmacy, meaning there is no face-to-face customer interaction. This position focuses on processing prescriptions, handling payments, preparing shipments, and supporting our evening pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities
- Generate invoices and receipts.
- Balance and reconcile daily cash and payment transactions.
- Prepare completed prescriptions for shipping and delivery.
- Verify patient and prescription information for accuracy.
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with workflow as needed.
- Answer incoming internal phone calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records in the pharmacy management system.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with pharmacy standards.
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous cashier, pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
