Scheduling Assistant

Objective: To assists the scheduling department with scheduling of caregiver with clients and general office tasks.

This is currently a part-time hourly office position

Hours: 1P-5P Mon-Fri. This position also requires bi-weekly weekend on-call phone duties (work from home) and bi-weekly weeknight on-call phone duties (work from home) for which additional compensation will be provided.

Compensation: $16.00/hr plus additional compensation for on-call duties

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):.

• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Assist the scheduling department to coordinate caregivers based on assessment and care plan information for new and existing clients
• Cover on-call phones every-other weekend and weeknight coverage, additional compensation is given for on-call duty. On-call phone duty is work from home.
• Maintain all client schedules and respond to situations where scheduling conflicts, emergencies and/or “call outs” arise.
• Track and record in Wellsky all instances of caregiver assignment refusals, call outs, late arrivals, early departures, etc. and share information with the Client Care Manager on a regular basis.
• Perform general office duties
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Professional experience in the field of customer service is a plus!
• Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.
• Must have computer skills to include use of Outlook and email
• Must have experience using telephones with multiple lines, multi-task on several calls and maintain professionalism and patience with a fast passed environment.
• Excellent problem solving abilities are a requirement, since the schedule conflicts are bound to arise that will require creative solutions.
