We are urgently hiring a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to join our team in the Wilmington area! We have immediate openings for daytime and evening shifts, including both weekdays and weekends. You can start right away, with flexible shifts available to suit your schedule. Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and speak English, and interpret the provided Plan of Care Document
• Ability to travel to and from client locations is required
• Valid US-issued driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current car insurance
• Pass a criminal background check before employment with Senior Helpers
• Prior experience, a plus, but not required
• Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies
• Must be at least 18 years old
  
  
  

What We Offer:

Earn more for premium hours! Weekday nights come with $1/hr (6 pm to 6 am), weekend days $1.50/hr (6 am to 6 pm), and weekend nights $2/hr (6 pm to 6 am), a great way to boost your paycheck.

Flexible Schedules: Work when it’s convenient for you.

Competitive Pay: Up to $16 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Caring companionship & conversation
• Transportation (errands, appointments, etc.)
• Apparel selection (i.e., laying out clothes)
• Meal assistance - planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, Hoyer lift)
• Light Housekeeping
• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, etc.)
• Household management, including laundry and linen changing
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques
• Other care-related duties, as required
