Caregiver/HHA Wiggins

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support within the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
• Helping with meal preparation and medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping tasks (laundry and linen)
• Accompanying clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's health or behavior
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with elderly clients in a caregiving role is preferred.
• Familiarity with assisting seniors in activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A caring attitude and the patience to work with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
