Senior Helpers of Blue Ridge Is Seeking a Compassionate and Dedicated Weekend/Overnight Caregivers to Provide Exceptional Care and Support to Seniors in the Waynesboro, Va Area. This Role Involves Assisting Clients with Daily Living Activities, Ensuring Their Safety, and Offering Companionship During Weekend and/or Overnight Hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries
- Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed
- Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
- Report any changes in client condition or concerns to management promptly
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work overnight and weekend shifts
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
