What Does an Overnight Caregiver Do?

• Providing a helping hand—especially during the hours it’s needed most.
• Offer overnight supervision and support to ensure client safety
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and companionship during nighttime hours
• Assist with nighttime routines, mobility, and bathroom needs
• Help with morning routines before shift end (as needed)
• Prepare light meals or snacks if needed
• Keep accurate notes and report any changes in condition or behavior

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel to client homes
• 1 year of experience (PCA or Home Health Aide preferred—but we will train the right candidate)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Current TB test and physical (hiring bonus helps cover costs)
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain—we can help!)
• 2 personal and 2 professional references
• Fluent in English (read/write/speak)
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
