Referral Intake:
- Working with Matrix software
- Referral Intake Management (Admissions/Referral Intake)
- Start of Care coordination with field staff, referral case workers, and clients
- Admission orders uathorization (new clients)
- Clinical team, case worker, referral source communication around start date
- Verifying prior authorization when needed
- Working with providers to get any additional information needed for successful claim processing to support billing department
- Unclosed visit management and staff notification
- Matrix visit closed/unclosed review and resolutions
- Matrix status reports review and resolutions
Clients statements:
- Work closely with billing department
- Private pay statement mailing
Business office manager responsibilities:
- Working with Matrix software
- Onboarding new hires (Coordinating Orientation, TB, collect and upload new hire paperwork)
- Daily office duties, ordering, printing start of care packets, keeping office orderly/clean
- Scheduling of HHA staff for their visits
- Managing HHA case load and desired HHA hours
- Weekly communication with hospitals related to client hospital transfers and updates
- Answering phones daily
- Notifying staff, client, and families of visit changes
- Provide daily assistance to the Administrator, CFO, DON, and clinical staff
Other responsibilities as assigned.
