🏡 About the Role
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients with mental health and behavioral health diagnoses in the home setting. The Psych RN assesses patient needs, monitors psychiatric conditions, provides education, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric and nursing assessments in the home.
- Monitor mental health status, symptoms, and medication effectiveness.
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding diagnoses, medications, and coping strategies.
- Identify changes in condition and communicate with physicians and the care team.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with Medicare and agency guidelines.
✅ Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Florida (required)

1 year of Medicare home health experience strongly preferred

1 year of psychiatric nursing experience required

Experience with Wellsky/Kinnser preferred

OASIS experience preferred

Current CPR certification

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance

Strong clinical assessment and time-management skills

Comfortable working independently while staying connected to a team
