We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our expanding team in the Coral Gables and Greater Miami area.

Position Summary

As an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will provide skilled therapy services that help patients regain independence, improve functional abilities, and safely perform activities of daily living. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans (OT).
• Implement treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist (COTA).
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, coordination, balance, and independence with daily living activities.
• Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment and home safety modifications.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment techniques, home exercise programs, and safety strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising therapist and physician.
• Maintain compliance with Medicare regulations, agency policies, and professional practice standards.

Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Home Health and Medicare experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Current Florida COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred.
• Home Health experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
